The Glory of this Most Holy Easter Vigil
To you O’ Lord I open my heart,
With you my God forgiving my sins,
The blessings of this night remind me now,
How much you loved us each and all.
The waters of baptism poured over us each,
And new life arose within our souls,
We found how much your Spirit did reign,
Your Father so pleased has given us you.
We enter the halls of pure reception,
To feel and taste your presence divine,
O’ to know how much your love for us,
And welcome the grace so freely given.
To you O ’Lord I give you my heart,
Knowing how much I was forgiven,
I am blessed you see on this eve,
I know how much you love us all.
