He Touched Me!! Again!!
Each day the urgency of Mary’s message gets stronger. And Jesus warned us over 2000 years ago---“Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray that you may not undergo the test.” Luke Chapter 22 v 46
Pray! Pray what? Well, to pray is to simply-- TALK TO GOD. Out loud, or in your mind and heart. Just talk to Him, He loves it when we do. He tells us “In all things –pray unceasingly.” No need or problem is too little to pray about.
When you are troubled, when you are facing a crisis, when you are happy and just want to express your joy for all that is awesome--pray.
Here are some examples of common daily prayer.
“Wow, God Wow!!!”
“Lord help me!!!”
“Oops, forgive me, Father, I slipped up AGAIN.”
“Forgive them, Father—they really do not know what they are doing!!”
“Father, Thy Will be done---for if I do it my way—You know what will happen then! Let us not go there.”
“My Jesus, I trust in You.”
“Come Holy Spirit, lead me, guide me and give me Wisdom and Understanding for WHY God WHY!”
It seems that the longer the prayer--- (I am not referring to the Mass or the Rosary)—we can get anxious and worry as the more our mind focuses on what is wrong. Over and over simply just say “Into Your Hands—I give You ALL,” when we do not know what to do.
Try this one too---“You got this, God, You got this.”
Caught in traffic or life seems at a standstill—my prayer is “If You can part the Red Sea, Father God, You can get this traffic moving for me.” (Works every time.)
“Thank You, Dear Lord.” Always thank God for prayers answered and for just hearing your prayers.
Better than a prayer of lip service, would be for us to go and pray one of the best prayers—the prayer of ‘service for God or help someone in need.’
There is also the prayer of spiritual music which can calm us and bring the Presence of God more 'present' by the anointing that comes with Praise and Worship. This is true for as we empy our minds--God fills us up.
Finally a pray that leaves my lips anytime I am frustrated or dealing with annoyances.
“Glory Be to God the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit—as it was in the beginning and is now and forever—Amen” (Much better than to cuss!)
With that Prayer we end with the best Prayer---“AMEN”—(which means I believe or is it I agree?)
Just pray—for as the “Breaking News” reports come out daily---more than ever Mary’s message should resonate in our hearts all day long---“PRAY!” We should not be hearing a ‘sweet—“Pray, my Children, pray.” We should be hearing her urgent, strong and pleading cry. “Pray---children, pray!!!”
Jesus and Mary see all the ‘storms and wars’ approaching and out of love for us—beseech us once more—“Get up and pray.” We shall be glad we did as miracles keep coming our way, and they will. Many, mini miracles.
