A Friar's Prayer to The Most Precious Blood of Jesus

A prayer given to me by a CFR Friar in London, UK back in 2015
O Most Precious Blood of Jesus, Cover Me,
O Most Precious Blood of Jesus, Protect Me,
O Most Precious Blood of Jesus, Sanctify Me,
O Most Precious Blood of Jesus, Guide Me. Amen.
This prayer was given to me over the phone by a CFR friar when I was feeling very anxious and lacked peace. He instructed me to pray this prayer on each bead of the Rosary until I felt at peace. As I prayed each word, I let it seep deep into my heart, being reminded of how God’s love, spilt for us in the Most Precious Blood of Jesus is unconditional and indescribable beyond words. What many do not realise is how powerful the Most Precious Blood of Jesus is, and how it can work through and in your life, if you allow it to.
I have used this prayer to ask the Lord to shut all the doors to my imagination, and cover those doors with the Most Precious Blood of Jesus, allowing only what is from God to enter into my imagination and affect my being, since it was once said in an exorcism story, shared by the parish priest of my home parish, that the devil is the prince of the imagination, and thus, it is through this doorway that he enters to disturb us and cause us to be tempted to sin. So, by closing this doorway to him, we entrust ourselves to the Most Precious Blood of Jesus that is the Blood of Love spilt for us, that we may follow Christ and serve Him, so that one day, we may join Him in the presence of the Father, in Eternal Love and Unity, wholly one with God in Heaven.
Thank you, Father, and may God bless you all abundantly, and keep you close to His heart, covered and protected by the Most Precious Blood of Jesus. Amen.

I am a Catholic convert who wanted to be "at one with God" since the age of three. I became a Catholic officially when I turned 18, in the ‘Year of Faith’ 2013. I love writing, editing and music, but I also have a special love for Scripture and Canon Law. More than anything though, Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is the special love of my life!
I was also closely associated with the Traditional Latin Mass, and yes, I recognise that the Vatican exists and that, as a Catholic, I am under obedience to Holy Mother Church. I very much love the TLM, but I go to both forms of the Mass. As it happens, I currently attend a New Rite Mass at my local parish in London, U.K.
I was in the same Archdiocese as Fr. Andrew Kooi (http://www.catholic365.com/author/fr-andrew-kooi/) while I was an undergraduate, but not the same parish! Kuala Lumpur Archdiocese spans quite a large area!
