I once dreamed of a magnificent edifice, built to lofty heights,

Within its walls were signs of peace filled with joyful bliss,

To all who entered, even the weary, everything felt aright,

For those who stayed soon found this place became paradise.

Each moment that found strife outside solitude was found within,

A desert that left one not dry but refreshed the soul complete,

Whenever fear of an unknown host suddenly reared its head,

The walls within breathed new life; the terror went away.

From the floor to the ceiling was seen a great light,

And not one would stumble as they came to pray,

Sweet fragrance inside was like fresh cut roses,

Reminding those who came of the peace within.

You could tell the blue-print for this perfect structure,

Had not come from the efforts of human endeavor,

Instead the Eternal Architect the Trinity of God,

Appeared to have planned this task before time began.

From the moment one entered the Spirit’s Presence was felt,

He quickly spread hope among those who desired,

It was here that I knew why I dreamed of this place,

Location was known each day of my life.

Never doubt where to find this magnificent edifice,

Nor wander in search of its endless wealth,

Look inside your soul, see the beauty that shines,

This great cathedral lies within, you see, its the human spirit.
