Staying Positive While Seeking God's Plan In My Life
2017 was an interesting and chaotic year for me. 2018 is still early in the year and so far it has been great for a women who will be entering in her 40's in July.
There are more things in life that are important than materials and money. Lately, I been focusing more on my faith, thankful for my new job, my sister's family is growing and i am enjoying my nephew and niece that I love dearly. I am thankful that my parents are enjoying retirement, and that I met a new man who entered into the Catholic Faith. I am also thankful for being able to hang out with friends in my Bible Study and Cursillo. Most important, I am thankful for being around people who will help, support, and help me become the woman that God wants me to be.
At times, I don't feel confident about myself either physically, mentally, and confronting my anger, and being a sinner (though the medications I've been taking have helped me, along with exercising and talking with my three close friends). Instead of asking "why" about my life, I would rather focus on what is my purpose in life - to do good deeds to others. I have heard these verses, Be Not Afraid and Jesus, I Trust In You. My life is an opportunity for me to follow Jesus, regardless, what is being thrown at me - good or bad. I look at this as a reflection of learning from my mistakes, opening my heart, and moving forward and not looking back! Amen.
