Like a Child—Being Born Again
The Secret Is In the Recipe!

One of the best lines from a movie came from "Fried Green Tomatoes." The Whistle Stop Café was known for it's Barbeque. It's sauce got even better after a man disappeared. To protect the black old woman who in self defense hit the man with a frying pan-- a way was come up with to make him 'DISAPPEAR.' And the secret was in the recipe was all that will be said, unless you saw the movie and know what I refer to.
Believe it or not---the HOLY SPIRIT popped that line into my head after the intense inner healing of the past weekend and the continued working on ALL the areas that needed fine tuning yet in my heart. Monday night ---deep seated HATE of myself because of past failures, mistakes, human weakness was surfaced. Today, "lack of TRUST in God to provide' was worked on again. Roof of carport and porch leaking and needing repaired. First $200, then oh the whole car port roof and it goes up another $300 at least. KICK IN THE STOMACH---but I knew that I was given a choice---TRUST or live in Fear.
Monday morning after being worked on by the Holy Spirit some more---God was smiling and whispering to my heart---"The SECRET is in the RECIPE." All of our life when given to him as a living sacrifice WILLING as Jesus did, is changed into that living water and the Wine that will be poured out to help with another's healing. We will be used to set others free from their deep pains and buried hate, fear and anger. Beloved of God, you do not want to keep this buried, for this is what is destroying your body as you age. A part of me wonders if Dementia and Alzheimer is due to us NOT WANTING to feel or see that buried past--TO FORGET IT FOREVER!!
All of the events of our life--no matter the pain, no matter how bad---when touched by the LIGHT of Jesus--bringing Truth into our being---ALL will be used for the Glory of God. "Through Him, With Him, and In Him---Oh God, Almighty Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honor is Yours for ever and ever."
Through the gifts of the Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding --we are to come to KNOW this to be true. Yes--Lord God indeed--Your recipe, where You take and use all that is dead and make it disappear by Your Grace and Healing Love---is the very BEST RECIPE that can be!!!
*Having just written this blog, I get a call to tell me that my firstborn had surgery and they found cancer in his neck and not all removed. My daughter Sarah's Doctors are trying to decide what is in her ear causing repeated pain and problems. SO ---more ingredient's being added to MY recipe. MY JESUS, I TRUST IN YOU! I must mean this and I do--NO MATTER WHAT! Pray dear people, pray for ALL are in need of some type of healing.

My husband Robert and I have been married for 52 this year in a marriage arranged by God. We have 8 children, two in heaven, 24 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Our life together has been one awesome up and down roller coaster ride which enriched my heart with so many of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I have found that the only way, Wisdom, Understanding, Words of Knowledge, Discernment, and Healing can be received is first by experiencing in your life the hurts of others. (and you yourself a sword will pierce)* so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.” Luke 2 v 35.
God has blessed me also many other talents and skills--but sometimes, blessings/gifts can and have caused problems or conflict in my life, as I am human and all too quickly that part of me shows up. Thank You God that You also show up!
