Just a couple of days ago, a mind-blowing Insight hit me. It was regarding an essential aspect of the mystery of iniquity. Nothing new was drawn from my analogies . I just discovered that an analogy I already had provided a profound basis for another theology I had.
The theology was blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. It works out like this. In the Middle Ages, the world had faith but not science, which is to say the powers of the next world but not this world.
Through Christian division after the Middle Ages, the powers of the next world became confounded and so rejected, so that, eventually, the world today has the powers of this world but not the next or, that is, science without faith.
The modern world blasphemes the Son because it says the Son"s message is confounded. That is, it says we do not need the powers of the next world, only the powers of this world, that is, we only need science not faith.
In the coming chastisement, the world will almost end because it does not have the powers of the world to come, that is, faith and love. That is, the powers of this world, when they lack the powers of God and his love, spell doom.
The world will repent and they will be in the age of peace. Then the world will have both faith and science, that is, the powers of both worlds.
Because the world will have seen that science without faith spells doom, and that science with faith brings peace and love, they will have no other choice except to conclude that faith in God and love of God is absolutely necessary for prosperity and peace.
Consequently if the world ever goes back to believing that science without faith can secure peace and prosperity, they are without excuse.
This is what I see the Antichrist doing. More specifically, at the time of the end, humanity will start to fall away and begin to bring upon themselves tribulation once again, tribulation that had been a thing of the past because of the age of peace, the age of the best of both worlds. In my view, the Antichrist will propose that the world needs to get rid of faith and turn to science and the powers of this world to solve the new tribulation. But then, he will have to explain how he will solve the world's new problems at this time without faith. This is because he will have to explain why the world will be getting bad again.
in fact, at the time of the end, when the world starts to get lax and lose their Catholicity, again, the very necessary tribulation will follow precisely because of their loss of faith and virtue; at that time, the Catholic Church will fraternally correct the world and tell them that they are bringing this upon themselves. The Catholic Church will tell the world that if they want peace and a resolution to these conflicts, they must return to the faith and virtue that they have left, that this is the only way to bring back the peace that they had.
The Antichrist will propose an alternative, a diabolical alternative. He will say that faith is not necessary, just the powers of this world. Then, the Catholic Church will confront him and say if the powers of this world are sufficient to bring about peace and prosperity, how is it that the world almost ended when all humanity had was those powers and not the powers of the age to come. Moreover, the Catholic Church will say how is it on the other hand that when the world had faith and science, and not just science, there was peace and love.
The Antichrist will retort, the only reason the world almost ended without your so-called faith is that it got into a rut: the technology and economics got goofed up or such. It had nothing to do with your so-called faith or church. And as for the age of peace, the age of your so-called lady and holy spirit, the peace had nothing to do with your so-called virgin of love and immaculate wisdom. It was only because of the powers of this world and not the powers of the so-called age to come that there was peace and prosperity. It was only because of the science; it had nothing to do with the faith.
This of course is blaspheming the Holy Spirit. How?
Well, let us work it out. Basically, the essence of the Holy Spirit blasphemy is to say that something good is attained by the power of something bad. Well, the Antichrist is saying that something good, which is the age of peace, or absence of strife , is being done by an evil power. Well, that makes sense because he's saying it is being done by science and technology and wealth and affluence.
Why are those bad? They are bad because they are the powers of this world, meaning, we should never place our faith in the powers of this world. The creation itself is good and we can enjoy and have dominion over the creation, but we can never elevate the power of the creation to the level of the creator.
And the age of peace is actually good because the dragon is chained in a very practical sense. According to Augustine, the dragon has been chained effectively since Jesus completed his earthly ministry and established the Church. This is true in and of itself, and as long as the Church is engaging the world and bringing the Gospel to humanity, the dragon's activity is limited by the power of God moving through the world. However, it is not very practical to say that the dragon is chained way beneath the world and not doing a darn thing when in fact he raises up infidelity and schism and apostasy and wars, and other spiritual calamities. In the age of peace, none of those things will exist at all or virtually at all. Christians will be one, there will not be heresies or infidelity or schism or apostasy, and there will be no wars, whether spiritual or physical.
Hence, a far more reasonable way to view the apocalypse when it comes to the scenes of the dragon is that all or almost all of the scenes of the dragon starting at Apocalypse 12 all the way to Revelation 19 and 20, is that before the chaining of the dragon, it is talking about diabolical activity beginning at the Ascension all the way to the time of the minor tribulation. Then, when he is chained, it means the age of peace, that his activities are substantially diminished if not all but absent.
Hence veritably, it is a corollary of the faith principle that just as faith and love are necessary to preserve peace and prosperity, the very same thing means that the dragon is chained or that his activity is substantially diminished.
Returning to the Antichrist, he will then effectively be saying that the dragon was chained or bound by the power of this world. But the dragon is the prince of this world! Therefore, the Antichrist will be saying that the prince of this world was chained or bound by the power of the prince of this world,.and that is diabolical, since the same Pharisees said the same with the Christ, who condemned them. The Pharisees said to Jesus that He was casting out demons by the power of demons. This was called blasphemy against the Holy Spirit and it was rendered unforgivable.
All the more is the Antichrist committing the same blasphemy as well as all sinful humanity: saying that the devil was cast out of human history by the power of the devil.
Now for the scripture analogy that perfectly applies to this.Three unclean spirits proceed from the mouths of the diabolical trinity in Apocalypse 16. We all know what they do: they seduce the world towards the supreme tribulation, Armageddon.
A very profound meaning of the frog can be shown as follows. Frogs were considered divine by the Egyptians. Hence, that is, the Egyptians thought frogs were gods who were above them in the nature of existence. Consequently, in this hierarchy, you have man infinitely above a frog, a mere animal, but man elevating the frog infinitely above man, a deity. If we translate this situation or model one step up, then instead of having man above frog, we have God above man, so that man, sees himself as the frog relative to God, Then, instead of having God infinitely above man (just as man was infinitely above the frog), we have man elevates himself infinitely above God (just as man elevated the frog infinitely above himself); hence, as at the fall, ye shall be like gods, knowing good and evil.
Hence the first lie of the fall and of the diabolical trinity is that humanity is above God and therefore does not need him.
Now the second aspect of the frog is his bizarre relationship to the land and the water. A human being can only live on the land and not in the sea. This is also true figuratively, for the land in the New Testament images the church, the pillar and ground of truth, 1st Timothy 3:15. In the sea, however, one is tossed to and fro by every wave of doctrine, and without the stability of truth, one drowns in the ocean of chaos.
But, the Frog can live either on the land or in the water. This clearly means that the land is optional. Figuratively, this means that religion, faith and the powers of the world to come are optional for peace and prosperity. Hence, they are not necessary, and so the LIE becomes that the powers of this world, that is, the water, which has no foundation for humanity, can in fact secure peace and prosperity by themselves. Humanity can swim in the water because it is a frog immune to God.
And this corroborates the lie of the Antichrist that the faith and powers of the age to come were not the ultimate cause of peace in the age of peace and, therefore, were not necessary for it.
In conclusion, the frog reveals the ultimate lie of the dragon. You are above God even as the frogs are above you. And whereas God tells you that you can only live on the spiritual land of faith, love, and truth--and not in the water of the powers of this world, which provides no foundation for peace and prosperity--in fact, God is optional; you can live wherever you want to live; if you want to live on the land, you can, but you don't need to; you don't need religion; all you need is the powers of this world.
Derivatively, this takes us back to the garden. The tree of life can image the creation, and that the binding of the fruit to the tree can image how we must leave the creation bound to the order of God's love and purpose. We must never rip the creation, or any part of it, away from God, His love, His order. or His truth. If we do so, our relationship with God collapses, and the creation as well ourselves also collapses, and it brings suffering and death: such first in this life, and then eventually in the next.
And isn't this the world that we live in, brothers and sisters. The difference is that humanity can learn their lesson this time. They will see that without God, even if you have great powers in this world, you almost destroy yourselves. They will learn, and they will come back to God. Then there will be faith and science fully reconciled; only after they have seen the chastisement of science without faith and then the fullness of science AND faith working together will the world have no more excuse, when they go back to the way things are in our day.
