If My People

   Wow---what a mess. Our country has been through three types of fires in the past week and more so in the past two years. The fire of anger that sends out sparks that are igniting other fires in the lives of others. People shooting and killing ---one or two here and more there. Real fires in the past year that have come from our mistreatment of the country and also how we did not prepare or work on a solution to stop the fires and floods from happening again.
   Today again we have destruction and death and people laying the blame on who is at fault. People everywhere speaking opinions about what OTHERS need to do to create a world free of killing and destruction. 

   Today--the words keep coming. "IF MY PEOPLE would seek my face, humbly pray and turn away from all their wicked ways---THEN I will HEAR them and move My Hand and freely then will I FORGIVE and I WILL HEAL THIER LAND."
   There in lies the biggest problem of why we continue to self distruct our lives and world. IF MY PEOPLE----too many have chosen to turn away, proudly say I do not believe in GOD and go about living thier lives THEIR WAY. When a terrible event occurs, a situation arises, or the weather gets very distructive----these people will choose to get angry at GOD, who they don't believe in, and angry at OTHERS who do not believe the way they do. NO person can expect change to come in our world EXCEPT for the change that will come when JESUS is PRESENT in the lives and hearts of HIS PEOPLE.
    His people will be helped and protected when they seek His Face and turn away from behavior that is hurting them. His peole will be healed, filled with joy and peace when they choose to obey and live HIS WAY. Up until His Second Coming---God promises to protect His people in all the trials and tribulations that are to come.  THESE tribulations WILL COME as people are choosing to deny God and therefore evil continues to grow and events getting worse that are bringing death and destruction to our world.  AS it is prophesied by all the prophets, Daniel and John.  If Jesus is to come again--these events have to come also.
   To all those out there who are choosing not to be HIS People, then you CANNOT BLAME anyone else or get angry with anyone else if your world continues to get worse. If you are not a part of the solution, as it is said, YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM.
     Many are the times when God's PEOPLE were in fires, in floods, in hard times, drought, poverty, the den of theives, wars and guns a blazing---But they KNEW what to do. THEY sought God's help in prayer, in trust and believed HIS promises that I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS do not be afraid. He brought them safely through 'whatever'  becuase they prayed.  
Isaiah 43 "Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name: you are mine.
2 When you pass through waters, I will be with you; through rivers, you shall not be swept away.
When you walk through fire, you shall not be burned, nor will flames consume you.
3 For I, the LORD, am your God,"
"If MY PEOPLE will SEEK My Face"----this the answer to all of our proplems in life. We have to choose what god/God we will serve each and every day.
