Keep watch! Go forth with a clean heart to greet our Savior with good works this Advent.

Advent 2018
Wake from sleep;
Prepare the way of the Lord!
What impairs our vision of the road,
From welcoming our infant Jesus?

Imperfect people seeking, longing for the Lord,
Hoping to know His kindness and mercy
Struggling with day to day distraction,
Knowing our need to accept His loving invitation.

To draw near, moving forward
Toward Advent’s reward-
A holy season of preparation-
Hope in Christ coming toward us.

Christ, who is God,
Fulfills His covenant promise
Redeeming man from sinful life
Making man His child of God.

To be incarnate in us is His desire;
To be a trustee of His love-
Lives reflecting His truth and mercy-
To be made new by His coming to earth.

Our Lord should find us
With our soul fit to receive Him.
Maybe alter the course of our life-
Be vigilant, nourish one another, and pray.
