What is Lost Must Be Found – So You See
Two days ago, my daughter's mother-in-law died quickly from pneumonia secondary to the lung cancer diagnosis she had. The family, along with grief, were also a bit angry over the 'TOO SOON leaving us' emotion.
The woman was told she had up to 3 or 4 more years, but since she had watched her own husband go through his prolonged illness with cancer---she chose not to do anything to treat her illnesses.
Having watched five brothers and sisters, and one father die from cancer---my heart goes out to them, but I also know, without a doubt, that 'God in His mercy knows best,' when it comes to matters of death and dying. She chose wisely the path she took.
All five of my siblings went to great struggles and hard illness from the chemotherapy and radiation treatments. They suffered greatly on their journey of trying to live longer for the family and had a deep hope of being set free of their cancer, some for years, some for months---but to no avail.
What has this to do with chasing sunsets? These were words that came from my sister Jeanne's spirit to my heart the day of her burial. I had sensed her excited spirit all day long that day. A spirit that was experiencing, for the first time, great joy, and being wowed by the awesomeness of God and His creation that could be seen like never before. As we were driving home that night, looking out of the car window---I said, "Where did you go, Jeanne?" Her reply to my heart---"Have you ever chased a sunset all over the world?" I embraced her joy and peace and told her "You go girl, you go."
This is what heaven will belike for us---experiencing like never before ALL that God has created, and being in His Presence, which is EVERYWHERE!
"So do not let your hearts be troubled or saddened, I have gone before you to prepare all the 'places/homes' for you ---for you to enjoy now and for all eternity! Where ever you are, I am: and where ever I am ---there is My love, peace, and joy."
