Messages of Hope from The Arrow Bringer

I'm a world trapped in a person. But I'm also a person who wants to change the world.
Everyone in this world has a unique calling, a reason for their existence. Before we were born, God knit each one of us in our Mother's womb. We're all special, and irreplaceable in the eyes of God.
He loves us so personally, it's as if we're the only people in existence. He cares for us deeply, more than we could ever comprehend.
Following God's call for us can be terrifying. We never know where He's going to take us, and it's really hard to trust Him. But, if we allow Him, He will bring us much further than we ever thought we could go.
It also takes courage to follow our dreams. It means that we might fail, but we have to try anyway. And sometimes the most courageous act we can do is picking ourselves up after we fail, and having the guts to try again.
Sometimes, the hardest person to forgive is ourselves. It's important that we recognize that everyone makes mistakes, including us. And that everyone deserves to be forgiven...including us. And that God is infinitely more merciful than we could ever comprehend! Yes, we should be remorseful when we sin. But we should also forgive ourselves and approach God with hope, knowing that He loves us so fiercely.
Yes, The Arrow Bringer is an allegory. But it's an adventure, too. There's a battle of good against evil, sword-fights, romance, friendship, characters who fail and who aren't perfect, the open sea... and surprises behind every page.
Aren't our lives like that, though? Yes, we search for God and love Him, but our lives are also complex and messy and yet so, so beautiful. And they're an adventure... if we'll allow it.
This is one of my favorite quotes of all time. So it's only fitting that The Arrow Bringer tells the story of ordinary people who endure hardship and have extraordinary destinies. The Arrow Bringer tells the story of very real people who have to face impossible odds, and believe not just in what they are capable of... because that can fall short. But believe in what God is capable of doing through them.
The Arrow Bringer, above all... is a love story. It's the love story between Jesus and you.
