It's world doula week again! New books for mamas have been published!
Hi, I thought I have a group of mothers on my mailing list and also think this idea of a mini-Lenten retreat would resonate well with Catholic 365 readers...so, welcome!
I will be offering about a weekly retreat for mothers who want to dive deeper into Lent. I am no expert. I hope we can learn from each other.
I am starting a Facebook group for this retreat - so if you didn't give up social media account or maybe just weekend only kind of person - click here and you can connect to our group!
This short introduction will help me define how the retreat will be planned for this year and hopefully I will have time to offer it again.
Retreat Week One:
March 10th First Week of Lent - What is motherhood? Our vocation of love...
March 17th Second Week of Lent - Reflections of motherhood - joys, sorrows, etc. some short stories
March 24th Third Week of Lent - Pregnancy and Motherhood (Part A- nausea, discomforts)
March 31st Fourth Week of Lent - Pregnancy and Motherhood (Part B - labor and birth)
April 7th Fifth week of Lent (Passion Sunday in Latin Rite) - Postpartum and Motherhood (Do you really get "rested" why 40 rest days of postpartum is important...(Part A)

April 21st Easter Sunday!! Glories of Motherhood - send us a story early and we will add it to our retreat! Email catholicdoulaprogram@gmail.com if you would like to contribute.
I am also writing a book - just starting this book "Little Way of Motherhood: A Catholic Pregnancy journey" - so if you want to add your story of birth to this let me know (same email as above) - I hope that making this retreat will give me some ideas for the book! I am so excited to offer this mini-Lenten retreat -- so look out for posts around the week time frames above.
