Bernard holds a Bachelor of Theology from the Catholic Institute of Sydney and a Master of Theology from the John Paul II Institute for Marriage and the Family, Melbourne. He has undertaken further studies at the Theology of the Body Institute, Pennsylvania, USA and at St Andrew’s Greek Orthodox Theological College, Sydney.
