Chris Choma is a Catholic writer, teacher, and the creator of Chris Explores the Gospels, a ministry offering weekly reflections, a podcast, and short “Gospel Snacks” to help people encounter Christ in the ordinary moments of life. His approach blends thoughtful storytelling, Scripture, and a calm, invitational tone that makes the Gospels feel clear, grounded, and deeply personal.
A cradle Catholic who returned to the Church after many years away, Chris completed his Confirmation through RCIA as an adult—a journey that gives him deep empathy for anyone exploring, questioning, or rediscovering the faith. He teaches OCIA at his parish, accompanies the Children’s Choir on guitar, and serves with Spirit of Truth Radio Arts and ACTS CT.
Outside of ministry, Chris is most at home outdoors—fly fishing, kayaking, snowshoeing, or hiking with his dogs. He’s also a husband and father of two adult daughters, whose encouragement and wisdom shape much of his creative work. Across every project, he hopes to offer moments of clarity, encouragement, and encounter that help people recognize God’s presence and walk toward deeper discipleship.
