Now at home in SC, I was born and raised in the Buffalo, NY area. My Catholic faith has always been integral to who I am. In public and private schools, I taught middle and high school English, study skills, and College Prep/Work Prep classes to incoming freshman and high school seniors, as well as tutored students in reading and specifically those with dyslexia. I've also led teen and adult retreats, written religious ed. curriculum, and led multi-generational family catechesis.

While homeschooling our 5 children over the last 18 years, I've become passionate about encouraging homeschool families, especially those whose children have special needs. Caregiving and supporting our nation's veterans are also a part of my story. Alongside homeschooling I've been an online used book reseller and worked interesting jobs at a machine shop, medical supply warehouse, food industry global headquarters, as well as home health care, and at estate sales.

I'm a lover of books and avid reader, a writer at heart, and an intensely curious lifelong learner. I mainly ghostwrite: a digital instructor manual for a college retail marketing class, Catholic radio blog posts, and recently a retreat for Catholic young ladies.
