Jeffrey Battiston is a lifelong catholic and father of three. Heis a founding partner of Green Energy Capital. He is responsible for leading the firm’s business development and capital raising functions. He has significant expertise in structuring and negotiating complex deals, having completed numerous leverage buy-outs, asset-based financings and real estate transactions.
Jeff has over 25 years of entrepreneurial experience and has owned several small businesses including a franchising company that operated 25 retail drycleaning outlets with 6 franchisees and 250 employees and a specialty chemical company that manufactured and sold environmentally-safe solvents to industry.
Jeff is a sinner and lover of Jesus. He experienced a profound conversion in 2008 that completely changed his life. He attends daily mass and is a lector. Thirty years ago, his father (an ordained Catholic Deacon) told him that “the beginning of all true wisdom is the recognition of the sacredness and value of human life put into action by the love we have for one another as human beings.” His journey and writings are a testament to that.
Jeff attended the London School of Economics and holds a BA in Economics from Bowdoin College. He is a volunteer youth hockey and lacrosse coach. Jeff lives in CT.
