My Catholic faith serves as the unwavering compass for everything I create, providing a spiritual framework that informs every word I put to paper. Intertwined with my faith is a lifelong love for the West. Since childhood, I have been captivated by the grit and honor of Western fiction, from the stories I watched on TV to the literary classics I’ve cherished throughout my life. I find a certain truth in the frontier spirit—the struggle between light and shadow that defines the human condition. This influence, along with my love for faith-based stories, provides the foundation for my work. Music and prayer offer the rhythm for my inspiration. My ultimate goal is to create content that speaks to the timeless human experience—finding the extraordinary beauty hidden within our ordinary, everyday lives. I hope you enjoy it.

Gone Fishing
One of my favorite things to do that I don’t get to do much at all anymore is fishing. There is just something about being out at a lake, pond or river and casting my line out and waiting to see what happens. When I came back to the faith in 2012, my goal was just to be a better person however, while listening to a talk by Fr. Larry Richards, I heard him say that we are all called to be saints. Saints? Is he kidding me! Apparently Fr. Larry has no idea who I am or what I have done in my life…..sainthood was way off in the distance if even possible at all.
