Justin Soutar is an American Catholic freelance writer and blogger with more than 100 published articles on topics ranging from faith and liturgy to pro-life issues and the environment. His articles have appeared in Lay Witness, Inside the Vatican, Catholic Online, Catholic Exchange, Intellectual Conservative, OpEdNews, and EzineArticles, among other publications. Justin's first book America's Back-Door Enemy (Tate Publishing, 2009; out of print) discussed terrorism from a Catholic perspective. His second book, My Christmas with Mother Teresa, co-written with a former Program Director of Catholic Relief Services, is awaiting publication. Justin is also an accomplished classical pianist, singer, composer/arranger, and occasional recording artist; his instrumental piano album Selections from The St. Michael Hymnal was self-published on CD in 2013 and is available on eBay, and his scores are available on Score Exchange. Justin serves as full-time Director of Music and Assistant Director of Liturgy at Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Lexington, Virginia, and is a Third Degree Knight of Columbus. He lives in beautiful Rockbridge County, Virginia, and enjoys fishing and amateur astronomy, meteorology, and photography.
