Meritt was born and raised in Pennsylvania, then traveled south in 2005 to North Carolina and never left those bright blue NC skies. She has worked for over 8 years in churches helping with administration, spiritual formation, and discipleship. She works as an individual and group Spiritual Director and writer at Roots and Wings Ministries, offering online direction, retreats and workshops. Meritt uses a contemplative style spiritual direction as she is passionate about helping people become healthy hearers of the Lord. She believes that the Holy Spirit enables all sons and daughters to discern the movements of God in their day-to day circumstances, enabling and empowering them to go out into the world and make a difference wherever God has called them.
