Michaelyn Hein is a cradle Catholic who has always had a deep love of and passion for her faith. She has used her talents in her home parish as a catechist, lector and facilitator in her parish women's spirituality group. Michaelyn earned her B.A. in English and M.A.T. in Secondary Education with a concentration in English. She taught high school English for seven years and worked as a writing tutor before giving birth to her and her husband's first child. Since then, she has committed herself to raising her two children full-time and writing in the spare moments when her family isn't seeking her attention (which is usually when they're sleeping).
Michaelyn also writes at Catholic Attachment Parenting Corner, and is a regular contributor to its affiliated online magazine, Tender Tidings. She occasionally blogs at Thoughts From the Pew in the Back, where she explores the many ways she sees God in her family's daily life.
