Michele is French-American and experienced a wonderful "come back to the
faith" in the late 90's. She started writing about it in 2005, she took classes, she joined prayer groups and Bible studies and has been a member of the French Church of San Francisco "Notre Dame des Victories". She says that she came back to the faith so late in life that she feels driven to be involved, to understand it, to be able to articulate it, to live it. Due to personal circumstances, she lived full time in the Alps between 2009 and 2014. She became more involved in her local parish there (la paroisse Bienheureux Ponce en Haut-Giffre) and is a member of the editorial team of its quarterly magazine. She says that as time goes on, the more she prays, the more she looks around at what is going on within the community of the Church AND at what is happening globally in the world, the more she is filled with gratitude for the gift of faith, for the Body of Christ, for the communion of saints.
