Mishka Gora is a Tasmanian writer/historian, photographer, and home educator. Her main areas of interest are conscience and the former Yugoslavia, and she is the author of Wellspring (a fantasy), Fragments of War (a novel-memoir), and A Book of Quotidian Prayer. She is currently working on Croatian Tenebrae, a novel set in WWII Croatia.
Mishka grew up in an agnostic home, became a Christian at the age of thirteen, and entered the Catholic Church at the age of twenty-one.
