A cradle Catholic, I lived with my family, growing up on my grandparent's dairy farm. My Catholic faith was strengthened by my extended family with picnics and parties at the Grandpa and Grandma's house, with my aunts, uncles and many cousins. There was always plenty of food, usually a baseball game, and sometimes even an accordion-led conga line. Whether a wedding, a baptism, or Grandma's birthday, the festivities usually started at church and the Mass.
