In his 20’s he left the Catholic Church and joined a Radical Traditionalist group. When it became apparent that he had made a mistake he came back to the Church. However, when exposed to some Fundamentalist objections to Catholicism, he once again decided to leave the Church. Before acting upon his decision, he sat down and did some research. To his horror he found that the Catholic Church had all of the answers and she could back them up. It became obvious that he had only one choice; embrace the truth and defend it.
