Stephen Hill: Catholic, sinner, Chestertonian, "theologian". I spent 3 years in formation at a Benedictine Abbey before completing a BS in psychology, an MA in Theology, and am currently pursuing an MTS (Masters in Theological Studies) degree in Liturgical Studies. Having been formed by one of Christianity's most ancient and important documents, the Rule of St. Benedict, I fully embrace St. John Henry Newman's assessment that monastic spirituality is the spirituality of the layperson. The poetic life promulgated by St. Benedict and his children is an attainable source of salvation for all people.
I have found himself at the unexpected junction between monastic spirituality, liturgy, spiritual childhood, and GK Chesterton, and I would like to invite you to join me on this adventure.
