Tony grew up working on his family vegetable farm in Wisconsin before obtaining his undergraduate degree in theology at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He then served as a Youth Minister for four rural parishes in Wisconsin in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. His next stop was South Bend, Indiana, where he earned a Master of Theological Studies from the University of Notre Dame. He is currently working towards a doctorate in Christian Theology at St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. His theological research is devoted to exploring the intersection of moral, liturgical and sacramental theology, focusing especially on the relationship between virtue and exemplarist ethics and the sacramental life.
